If you own a Para-Phernalia Softie pilot emergency parachute and it's reaching (or has reached) the end of it's 20 service life it's worth $400.00 towards the purchase of a new Softie back style pilot emergency parachute, or $450.00 towards the purchase of a seat style parachute. All you have to do is return your overaged Softie(s), to me and I'll credit the amount towards the purchase of a new Softie parachute, of your choice. This includes custom colors a free $60.00 carry bag and all other options, like a sheepskin back pad, at my cost.

Every used parachute below receives a thorough inspection and any necessary repairs to make sure it's airworthy, before I'll place it on my website. A fair market value is placed on each parachute using the guidelines established in my article titled "Before You Buy Your Parachute" in the Articles section of my website.

ITEM #1: Micro 240 Back Style Parachute, s/n 14513-S Mfr. 7/20 by Para-Phernalia. It comes with a 24' Preserve 1D canopy. The Micro 240 has the larger canopy and is rated at 150 KIAS with up to 220 lbs. The container and harness are dark grey. It comes with a matching carry bag. It has two upgrades. It comes with a removable sheepskin back pad and the leg straps have upgraded ejector snaps on them. It has a 13" wide container not 15" or 16". This is perfect for people with smaller frames or someone who has limited space behind them for a parachute. It is a bit thicker (3 inches). This parachute is in very good to excellent condition. I estimate this parachute to have sixteen years service life left on it. It will need a current repack

DESCRIPTION OF PHOTOS BELOW
The top (2) photos show a quick release way to thread your chest strap.
The next (3) photos show a 15 inch Mini which is about 2 1/2 inches thick and the 16 inch is about 2 inches thick, when they are properly packed. The top of the container is where the bulk of the lines are normally stowed. This is the part directly behind your shoulder blades, but it also can be packed at the bottom of the container, for lumbar support. When it is packed with the bulk at the top the of the container, the bottom of the container can be easily squeezed to about 1 inch thick. Vice versa, if the bulk is packed at the bottom of the container, for lumbar support. Packing the bulk at the bottom will move your bottom/butt about 1-2 inches forward, on the seat.
The next (2) photos shows the 1 inch removable chest strap that comes with each "A" Aerobatic harness that I sell.
The next picure shows the four colors that the removable sheepskin back pads come in. The dye lots can vary a bit. (Tan, Silver, Grey & Black.
The next (2) photos show the Quick Ejector snap on the left They are an upgrade option. The B-12 snap, shown on the right is standard on each parachute, unless you upgrade to the quick ejector snaps.
The last photo shows what I call a "Camels Hump". This is a way to temporarily shorten the vertical distance from the shoulder to the waist for someone of smaller stature. It then can be easily shortened and lenghtened back to the way it was.
